Being chronically ill for so many years has taken me on a wondrous adventure of learning.  I feel blessed to be able to share with you my adventure so you too can experience the joy of healing.  Recently I have been finding so much valuable information.  I hope you enjoy this information as much as I have.

These three books have helped open my mind to new approaches to healing I had never considered before. I highly recommend starting with The Emotion Code.  This book helped me realize I was doing a great job taking care of my physical body by eating plant-based, but that I was neglecting my Energy Body (aka: spirit, aura, subtle body, unseen body, chakras, spirituality).  I am not the expert though so I will refer you to the book to understand what I mean by “energy body”.  After reading The Emotion Code I went to Dr. Nelsons website:  Discover Healing and I was able to find a practitioner near me in Mesa, AZ who is helping me heal my energy body through the emotion code and biofeedback, I like to call this energy healing.  If you are in the Mesa area I highly recommend Victory Energy Wellness, ask for an Emotion Code appointment with Jolene the owner.

Jolene recommended several books to me during my appointment and I started with reading Evolve Your Brain.  In this book I learned the power of our brain in regards to healing.  The author shares his story of his miraculous healing from a serious vehicle versus man on a bike crash.  During his recovery he discovered Ramtha:  The White Book.

Since reading these books I have been able to change my thinking to increase my healing capabilities.  I apologize in advance if any of this healing information is vague, I just don’t want to try to explain any of it to you when you should learn from the experts like I did.  I hope you will open yourself up to healing options that you may not have considered before.

Who has time to read all of these books?

You may be wondering how you are going to find time to read all of these books or you may be thinking “I don’t have the money to buy all of these books”.  I want to share with you how I read all of these books in a very short period of time and for very little cost.  First of all, I highly recommend you search for them for free through your local library.  My library has an app available, so I don’t even have to go to the library, I just log on to the app and check out the book I want.  I like to get the audio book version so I can listen to the book in the car on the way to and from work.  I also listen to books while doing my chores, gardening, and while cooking.

If you cannot find the book you want through your library, kindle ebooks are a great inexpensive option.  I have the Amazon Echo at home, so I have Alexa read my kindle ebooks to me.  I am sure this is also available with other virtual assistants, for example I have also used Siri on my iPhone.  Siri reads books and articles to me all of the time.  I wish you joy and healing on your adventure.

These days who has time for gardening!  I don’t, but some how I managed to end up with this enjoyable garden.  The important thing is to make gardening practical.  No one expects you to spend your entire weekend gardening.  I try to spend as little time as possible working on my garden and below I tell you how I did it. Heavy Metal Detox smoothie by Anthony William

HEAVY METAL DETOX SMOOTHIE by Anthony William

2 bananas
1 teaspoon barley grass juice powder
1 teaspoon Hawaiian spirulina
1 tablespoon Atlantic dulse
1 cup fresh cilantro
1 orange freshly squeezed (2 oz juice)
1 cup water (personally I use 2 cups of water) (can substitute 1 cup coconut water)
2 cups frozen wild blueberries (look in the freezer section with the berries, look for “WILD”)

Combine the bananas, barley grass juice powder, spirulina, and dulse with cilantro, the juice of one orange, add the frozen fruit last (blueberries) in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Add up to 1 cup of water if a thinner consistency is desired. Serve and enjoy!

Morning Energy smoothie

The smoothie challenge

How are your mornings?  Do you drag out of bed, sluggishly heading toward that first cup of coffee as soon as possible?  Do you feel required to drink coffee or energy drinks at work just to stay awake so you don’t lose your job?  Do you feel guilty because you know your morning eating habits just aren’t very good?  Do you wish you could eat better, but just don’t have the time to make something?…let alone eat it?  Do you wish you had a healthy energy drink?  I have great news for you.  If any of the above questions resonated with you, I challenge you to try my 28 day smoothie challenge.

For the best results,

  • write down your goal and
  • put it somewhere you will see it multiple times a day.
  • take a few notes as to how you feel before the challenge
    • What time of day do you start falling asleep at your job?

Energy smoothie recipe

This quick smoothie can be made in approximately 7 minutes and in less than 15 minutes total time for making it and clean up. Boost your energy with natural raw plants instead of coffee. I accidentally quit drinking coffee when I committed to drinking a smoothie every morning (nice side effect if you ask me). We add the raw spinach for your source of excellent plant protein.

Place the ingredients into the blender in the following order (this recipe makes two larges shaker bottle servings):

    • 2 medium bananas in first on the bottom (room temperature or refrigerated, BUT NOT FROZEN)
    • 1-3 of your favorite supplements (I use 1 tsp Spirulina, & 1 tsp Amla powder, & 1 tsp Barely Grass Juice Powder or I mix it up) Example:
          • chia
          • dragon fruit powder 

        • spirulina 

       

  • a handful of raw organic spinach (I like to buy the plastic rectangular container)
  • 2 cups liquid (water or orange juice or coconut water.  I use half coconut water and half orange juice)
  • 2 cups frozen WILD blueberries’

Blend with the smoothie button if you have one.  I use a ” data-wplink-url-error=”true”>Vita-mix is a wise choice.  Halve the recipe and it might fit into a Bullet blender.
