Plant-based hummus salad dressing
Enjoy this delicious salad dressing on a variety of salads. It reminded me of Cesar salad when I had it over Romaine lettuce.
I like to use this hummus recipe from MedicalMedium.com
vegan, medical medium compliant, plant-based
• 1 cup cashews
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 garlic cloves
• 2 lemons
• ¼ teaspoon sea salt
• ½ to 1 cup water
Combine the cashews, olive oil, garlic, juice of two lemons, and sea salt in the blender with ½ cup of water. Blend until smooth for a thicker aioli. For a thinner consistency, continue to stream in another ½ cup of water while blending. Serve the artichokes alongside the cashew aioli for dipping and top with any fresh herbs as desired!
TIP: Save the extra aioli for use as a sauce over steamed potatoes or broccoli, as a topping for the “Nachos-Style” Baked Potatoes (recipe), or massaged into kale for a hearty salad.

Welcome back, if you caught my last post you saw that I have been reading this book Medical Medium Thyroid Healing. The information in his books has been a miracle, it is way better than plant-based. I now have a step by step plan of what to do and what to avoid so I can heal from my Hypothyroidism. Before this book I was told I would never heal and I would have to take thyroid meds the rest of my life. This news never sat well with me because I know my body can heal if I give it what it needs. Now I know I can heal my thyroid too, like I have healed from other ailments.
Since I have been plant-based for 4 and a half years, eating the way Anthony and Spirit recommends isn’t difficult to me. It is time-consuming though. This way of eating is like “plant-based on steroids” but without the steroids. He gives you the information you need for your personal conditions. My focus has been on getting off of prescription medications and beating the viruses I have, which will eliminate my hypothyroidism symptoms. I am going to get rid of these hot flashes!!
Today I just completed my 31st day of drinking celery juice every morning. Since reading Medical Medium Thyroid Healing. I have dramatically changed how I eat so I can follow the healing protocols. I am noticing distinct changes. My eye-sight is getting better. My skin feels softer. Everything is not rosy though. I have had some rough patches…I have had some serious hot flashes, and some minor headaches. I never get headaches, but this detox method is bound to stir things up. You should also note a change in the color and consistency of your bowl movements.

Below I have listed everything I ate Saturday 8/25/18 (this is a list custom to my hypothyroid symptoms:
Choice B: HEAVY METAL DETOX MONTH
- Every morning, drink roughly 16 ounces of celery juice on an empty stomach. And then don’t eat anything for 15 to 30 minutes. (Made with my new juicer)
- Every day, drink the heavy metal detox smoothie.
- Sip roughly 16 ounces of lemon or lime water
- Sip roughly 16 ounces of ginger water in late afternoon.
- Every evening, drink roughly 16 ounces of aloe water or cucumber juice.
- Avoid: skip tuna, swordfish, and bass this month.
- One handful of nuts: Walnut raw, Cashew raw and roasted, salted, Brazil nut raw, Almonds raw
- Hemp 3 TBSP
- Leafy greens
- sprouts (sprayed with sea minerals)
- Moringa leaves (eaten fresh from my tree) (Anthony has not mentioned anything about moringa)
Lunch: mashed potatoes with fresh thyme
Snack: Thyroid healing smoothie
Rinse or brush with brush rinse (Anthony teaches not to swallow all that bacteria in your mouth when you wake up. Instead, rinse the bacteria out with this rinse or lemon water)
Vegan safe B 12
Zinc. 2 droppers
Vitamin D3 5000 IU
Cats claw two droppers
Lemon balm one dropper
L-Lysine 1 capsule
Turmeric 1 capsule
Licorice root (purchased, but hasn’t arrived)
